Out Of The Darkness

The children in this painting are our children, a generation being raised up by God to walk in the light. (1 Peter 2:9) The looming trees and night sky represent influences and hardships that threaten them as they walk through life. But they are children of light, called out of darkness. Darkness cannot hold them for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these. (Mt. 19:14) The promise of the outpoured Spirit is for us and for our children. (Acts 2:39) He who promised is faithful.
