Revelations 2:28 This painting portrays the message to the Church in Thyatira. The woman represents the overcoming church who is given authority over the nations; she is also given the Morning Star. It is a painting of dawn, for though we yet see much darkness, by faith we see the day dawning and the Morning Star rising in our hearts. (2 Peter 1:19) Jesus refers to Himself as the Morning Star. (Revelations 22:16) I have painted the world small enough to be held lovingly in her arms and glowing with light as she prays. May intercessors be encouraged and know that intercession is the key to authority; their prayers encompass the earth and cause it to reflect the light of Heaven. (Matthew 5:14) |
